Text Message Formatting

Can someone please point me in the right direction for formatting the messaging text layout with the stock messaging function? (I'm not intersted in dowloading a third party app just for texting.) I recall when setting mine up it seems I had the choice of conversation layout (where the text bubbles alternate in chronological order) vs something else, where the text bubbles are grouped in the conversation by sender.

I just got another Infuse for my daughter and for the life of me I can't find where this setting is. Her's are currently grouped in the coversation by sender rather than chronologically.

isn't it grouped together by sender AND chronologically?? my brain hurts on this one =P

Sorry about that - probably not worded the best. But yes, hers is currently grouped by sender first then chronologically. Mine is strictly chronological - so as long as one person isn't just talking to themselves, it alternates between senders. The latter is how we are trying to get hers formatted.
