What da...

Starting April 1st, hmmm, my wife started receiving my text messages in her FB Messenger app. Now she is receiving our son's text messages in her FB messenger app.

How can this be, three fish in a tree?

TIA, Phil

Just yours or everybody's? Facebook Messenger has a setting to use it as the SMS app.

But why would his text messages go to his wife's phone? That's just plain odd.

I would assume that the OP means that text message he sends to his wife ends up in the messenger app.

Not that text messages to him end up in his wife's phone.

That would be a scary thought.

His wife probably inadvertently set Facebook Messager as her default SMS app. It's easy to do if you're not paying attention. I've done it accidentally.

If all her text messages end up in her Facebook Messenger, open her text app and set it as the default text app (there can be only 1, so most of them ask, if they're not).

If only his are going to her Facebook Messenger, and she's still getting texts from other people in her texting app, it's most likely that he's sending her messages in his Facebook Messenger app.

I re-read his original post. His son's text are going to her FB Messager App too. Either she did what I previously said, or, him and his son both are sending texts trough FB Messager.
