I had a problem with my cell phone not sending a message to a friend using Google Messages. I had no problems sending messages to anyone else. I checked my friend's phone and confirmed I hadn't accidentally been put on ignore.
I went to my service provider, Telcel, here in Mexico. The young lady looked at my examples, tried sending a message, then fiddled a bit and sent a message that went through.
What did you do? "Some users using WhatsApp have a problem. Your friend if using WhatsApp. You need to add a plus sign, +, in front of the ten-digit phone number.
I did and it works fine now. Thought it was interesting.
