Text message notification dissappears before I've even read the message. samsung s6 edge plus

Hi, recently when getting a text message notification it acts like I've read the message already and dissappears. If I am not with my phone that means I sometimes have a text message I don't know about, and only find out about it if I am in my inbox and see a message a don't recognise.

It's a Samsung s6 edge plus

Are you using a 3rd party message app? if so, clear its default and use native app, and see if it still occurs. If you're using native app, try clearing Cache, 2 ways, as described below.

1. Goto>Settings> Device> Applications> Application Manager> Scroll over to ALL> Scroll down to Messages> Clear Cache.
2. Enter Recover Mode, and wipe Cache Partition.

Hi - I've had same issue ... I have tried some clear cache options ... will see how this goes .. thanks, Al
