Question: I have s10 plus and use Verizon message plus app. Since it no longer has option to restore messages except from SD card, how can I keep messages when I go to Ultra 5g?

The Samsung transfer app (not sure what it is called) should transfer that for you.

I use the SMS Backup & REstore App. Been using it for years. Saves to the Drive folder and I will just download again.

Smart switch on pc , can back up and restore anytime, not sure if smart switch on phone is a one time deal between devices.

Dont want to hijack this thread but based on the title I feel my question is ok....Does anyone have any tips for transferring texts(iMessages) from an iphone to Android? Smart switch always gets hung up on "organizing your data" on my Note 20 Ultra. It would just hang there for hours and id finally stop the transfer, it kills the battery as well. I know there is a 3rd party program called SyncIOS. I tried the free trial and it worked, but it only transferred five different text message threads since it was the free trial. Before I shell out $40 on the program I am just wondering if anyone else has any experience with SyncIOS.

*This will be for transfering my texts to my S21 Ultra arriving tomorrow*

I used Smart Switch going from my Note 20 to Ultra and I use Google Messages and all my messages transferred over.

If your commenting to me my problem is getting all my texts and imessages from my iPhone to my S21 Ultra when it arrives tomorrow. For some reason SmartSwitch didn't seem to like transferring them to my Note 20 Ultra. I use Google Messages on Android with RCS enabled. I even checked the stock Note 20 Ultra messenges app to see if my iPhone texts went there but nada.
