Text Message

Since last tuesday, I am not receiving text message notification on my phone. It is not only after I made a phone call that the text message notification show up. I check all the settings and they seems to be okay. Any suggestion?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you actually receiving the text messages, but the phone just isn't giving you a notification? Or is the phone not receiving a message that you know it should be receiving?

Yes, I am getting the messages, but I am not getting the notification. In order to see the messages, I have to make a phone call or check my voice mail. Once I am in the phone, the messages popup on the screen.

Are you on any kind of power saving mode?

Check that notifications is not turned off for the Messaging app.

Goto Apps in settings. Swipe til you get to the "All" sectiin. Scroll down to Messaging. Open it and check that notifications are checked.
