Text messages getting mixed up with other, older conversations from different people.

This started last night. Some texts I am receiving are getting attached to conversations with different contacts. And a text I just sent was attached to a conversation I was having with a different contact, making it really hard to keep track of conversations and hard to find them. This started after the latest Android update this week. Help!
