Text messages not sending with S22+

I have T-Mobile for my provider. My phone is only a few months old, and it has been having this issue since day one. Sometimes I'll try to send a text and it will just keep saying SENDING until it finally gives up. And it doesn't matter to whom I'm trying to text. Has anyone else here had this problem?

Try opening up your dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#* and click on phone information. Then scroll to the bottom where it says smsc. Hit refresh and a number should come up. Then hit update.

Can number of reasons, is this picture texts only , either way clear cache then force stop the message app, if same clear data then force stop it. Still happening reset network settings in settings general management>reset>reset network

I sometimes have issues with texts etc which are fixed by turning Airplane mode off then on again to refresh the connections.

I also sometimes have issues sending sms or mms. Usually gets better if I turn off 5g. Sometimes the airplane mode trick above is also needed. Frustrating for sure. Also T-Mobile s22U. Usually always have wifi calling enabled.
