Text Messages through wifi?

Hello all,

I have a problem, where I work I have horrid signal, I have to go outside to get 4g. While I'm inside I'm always on E (edge im assuming). I assumed if I was connected to wifi I could send text messages and picture messages but that's not the case. I'm constantly getting errors that network failed.

Is this how it is w/ t mobile? When i had a GS3 w/ sprint I never had these issues, they even gave me an airave and that thing worked great at the office.

They work pretty well. A friend of mine uses one at his home. Best Buy sells them as well as a ton of other places. Just do a Google search.

Text messages can't be sent via wifi. Try a signal booster?

You don't need data to send a text message. Sms uses voice. On the other MMS needs a data connection
