Text Messages won't Send, help with Hard reset Please!

Good Morning,

I updated my phone two days ago, for the most part everything has been working fine.

The last text that I know was received by someone was at 8:45am, after that...nobody is receiving my texts.

I did a soft reset (just turn phone on/off), nothing worked.

My plan is to do a hard reset but first I have to transfer everything over to my new SD card. Couple of questions...

1. Is anyone else having issues with sending a text?
2. How do I move all of my texts from my phone to my SD Card?

I searched online to find a solution for #2 but everything is related to the old version and not the new update.

Any help is appreciated.

If you back up your phone your texts will be saved on your Samsung account so that when you restore the texts will be reinstated

My wife was having problems sending messages as well but it turned out that she had too many for it to handle.

XXX amount of messages times XX amount of people that she is messaging at any time will "clog" it up so I had to set it to delete older ones as it hits the limit per thread.

Is the second half of your post the notification she received telling her she had too many?

I didn't receive a notification.
