Does anyone else experience text messages not pushing to watch? Everything is except that. I am using the stock app.

Clarify

Incoming text or outgoing?

If Incoming are you on the phone?

If outgoing are you on the phone or texting from phone?

Incoming text. I am not on a phone call at all. I get a lot of text messages and none get pushed to the watch. I can send from the watch no problem but I would have to look at my phone when I receive one.

Look in your settings under messages what does the outgoing number say? In addition look under call setting. What number is displayed?

Not sure. Might have to reset the Gear. Just to make sure you are using the native message app right?

Yep I even did s reset checked settings on watch all goes to mobile. Like I said emails and phone calls show up but no text. If you could tell me what settings you have setup between watch and phone

I don't have anything set specific. Have you tried reinstalling Gear Manager? That is weird. I really can't think of anything out the more.

I don't get it myself 😕. I have a t-mobile watch with my Sprint Note 2. I know it can't be that because I read on here with a few that have it the same way. I hope someone else will chime in to help a brother out. But thanks for trying.

In notifications I have messages, incoming and missed calls all checked off. And they all come to the watch.

I figured it out I disconnected from bluetooth and have it connected remotely and that seemed to work. We shall see how this connection holds up. I am doing a test to see how long the watch battery last this way.

Well so far remote connection is iffy. My text messages stopped coming in on the watch also my emails stopped also out of 10 I was able to get 3. So I switched back to bt for now. I might just uninstall the the gear manager an reinstall and reset watch😠

In Gear settings under notifications, is limit notifications checked off. If so, Uncheck it.

The phone can't push text only calls when connected to Bluetooth you will get your text but if not you can only get text if the person texting you has your watch number

When Bluetooth is connected I get all notifications from my phone to my watch, calls, texts, emails and whatever else I have checked off in notifications. And no one has my watch number. When it's bluetooth connected it's just an extension of your phone and everything should push.

I'm not sure that's correct. The watch radio will be disabled when connected to Bluetooth with your phone by default (yes, there is a way to enable it but that costs extra battery drain). If someone text to your watch number you will never receive it until the watch is no longer connected to Bluetooth. Text to the phone are always pushed to the watch by the phone as long as your watch is connected to the phone.

Problem solved. First I took it to a t-mobile by my job because I got an error saying the sim card could not be detected. I brushed this off the first time it happened but I happened twice yesterday while I was on the bus. So the guy changed it. Then he told me to call tech support to help with the issue in turn they put me through to samsumg tech support which and told me the watch could not receive text messages from my phone being that it's 2 different carriers. After telling him to get someone else on the phone cause he don't know the product (he didn't even know the watch can be remote connected. So he spoke with someone they dialed into my phone through the smart tutor app and it was the gear manager that was causing the issue. I know I had messages checked but for some reason it kept unchecking by itself. Reinstalled that now its working. Sorry for the long post but so far so good and it seems all my messages emails tweets and now text messages are coming in faster.

That's what I was told by tec support don't think any of them really know much about the watch....02 customer service didn't even know it had a sim slot

Great it's up and running now. May I ask which two carriers you have? My cell service and watch is thru AT&T. But I want to try T-mobile's wearable plan for $15 a month (AT&T is $30). People throughout this forum have been reporting great success with multiple carriers.
