Yes, I've had problems, too.Yes I have the same issue. Twice. Here's what happened to me:
Got my new phone, put in my old sim card so I could use it right away. Transfered all my data (contacts, calendar, and sms) to the new phone via bluetooth. That's when text messages I've sent and received were resent. It was so bad that I had to turn off my cell phone radio by switching to airplane mode.
The second occurrence was when I activated my new simcard by calling att. I had it activated and restarted my HTC inspire and all my texts were resent.
Help please...
I have a different texting problem after updating to GB. I was hoping this thread was about my issue, but no such luck. Anyway, i'll post it here just in case anyone is seeing what i'm seeing.
When I'm typing out a text message and I hit the "backspace" button to fix a typing mistake, sometimes it will eject me from the message and ask me to select messages for deletion. I'll have to hit cancel, and then the back button a few times to get back to my list of messages.
It's annoying b/c it happens a few times a day. It never happened with Froyo. Anyone else seeing this odd behavior when texting?
Thanks!

I have this bug when texting too. With me, it happens if I open the keyboard before switching to landscape. I just make sure I don't open the keyboard until I have rotated the phone to landscape mode. Although, sometimes I forget and then it is really annoying.
