Text messaging problems.

HELP!!! I have somehow I switched my texts to show all the ones I send together and then all the ones im getting together instead of a back and forth kinda deal. anyone know how to fix it. I have looked in settings and it looks like I will have to reset the stupid thing...I would rather not and lose everything on the phone itself.

What Messaging app are you using? I don't see any options that would cause that behavior in the stock Messaging app.
