So I've noticed that this is starting to happen a bit now. People text and send a pic and nothing shows up pic wise. My dad and husband have an S8+ so I'm not sure if that has any correlation, as I haven't had anyone send pics from an iPhone so. Anyone have any suggestions? ***Correction****- IPhone shows just fine.
Example- There should be a picture after the caption.

Try clearing the app cache for the messaging app in Settings>Apps, then force stop it. Open it again and see if it persists.

Does it matter if the pics are sent with the message as in the first pic or sent independently like the second?

Does it affect all contacts or just one or two?

What interesting is that it leaves a blank spot. Usually if there's a signal/coverage problem you would expect to get a download link. If the pic came in corrupt you'd expect a placeholder or something which is why the blank spot is so curious.

Did clearing the cache help?

I believe it's when text and pics are sent same time from trial and error. Had husband just send a pic and it came over fine. Text with pics not fine. But the weird thing is, when sending any pictures we have to turn off wifi if at home.

Does this only happen when you're on wi-fi (whether your own home wi-fi or some other wi-fi network outside of home)? If so, which carrier do you have? Some carriers seem to have more issues with wi-fi calling than others.
