Texting help

Wife and I have the Z3V and both of us are having the same issues with the phone.

1. Sometimes when sending a text and someone replies, the text I sent shows in the box to send again. Thus I have to delete it.

2. MMS problems all the time with having to resend.

3. Get a message - could not send message. Will resend with network becomes available.

Could this be with Global vs LTE setting?

That would be the first thing I'd try. Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > Select LTE/CDMA only. Then I'd restart the phone.

I'm lucky that I've never had that problem, but have heard doing the above may help depending on your geography.

Also what messaging app are you using? The phone came with 3 pre-installed. I'd disable 2 out of the 3. Verizon's Message+ being one of them.

I was having problems with MMS as well. I switched to LTE/CDMA and no such problems anymore. Mine was originally set for global.

Not sure what's causing your issues, but I'm currently using EvolveSMS for my texting and haven't had any issues with it.

Has anyone noticed issues with the Google Messenger app sending low quality mms, and Hangouts sending portrait mms sideways?
