Texting Lag...

So, I've been using Textra for months on my N5. I quite like it. My one complaint is that when group messaging I am usually 2-3 minutes behind when receiving a group MMS text compared to my wife who is using an iPhone 5. When they do show up it is usually way out of order in the conversation.

Is this just my problem? Is this a problem with Textra? Should I try hangouts?

I use textra and have not noticed that problem. Try hangouts and post ur results. I am interested.

I've noticed random MMS lag (group texting uses MMS) every few days. I can only guess it's network congestion (my carrier, T-Mobile, or theirs). Christmas day was the worst...texts wouldn't send or receive until hours after.
