Texting lag

I send around 1.5k-2k a month as well, and I never delete threads. I keep them all there. I like to reference things in them, at times, lol.

It's the phone itself. It's a combination of the software not paying nice with the chipset and the screen not registering the touch. I thought it was a hardware issue, but if you Google it, you'll find out many people are suffering lagging and stuttering on this phone when skiing simple things like texting, touching screen or scrolling. I'm sure LG knows this and it will solve these issues with its first update.

Textra plus the Google keyboard. This combo is lag free and great. I do miss swyp gestures for punctuation but this will do.

That is exactly what I use on my Note 5 and I have intense lag with the keyboard appearing.
