Anyone been having issues lately? I had to switch back to Android message inorder to get notifications on my watch. Everything else works as it should. I've factory reset the watch, cleared data in Textra and the Android Wear app. It's been going on for about a week.

Weird. I have the Moto 360 sport.. the only thing I haven't done was factory reset the phone maybe that is next.

Before factory resetting your device, contact Textra's app support team (you can do that from within the Textra app, in its Settings subsection). Their app development team is really speedy with response times and may give you additional steps you can take au lieu of resetting your device.

Thanks!

No problem! I had to contact them a few months back because my texts would "send" but then come back as "failed" and it got to the point that I'd be resending too often. They got back to me the next morning (I'd messaged them at night) and gave me some steps to take to fix it. And it worked! So I'm sure they will be of assistance to you.

They told me Textra doesn't support Android Wear 2.0 and they would pass it along to the team......

I've had 2.0 for a few months. Unless Google recently changed something via the play store it still doesn't make sense to me . I dunno

The Sport did get upgraded, the original Moto 360 didn't make the list, so were 'stuck' in AW 1. And to some, that's a good thing, apparently. Also some apps just work...weird (or not at all, apparently) on AW2.

I've been having this issue as well. Notifications are not showing on my watch with Textra as the default messaging app on my phone.

Downloading an app that resides on both the phone and the watch seems to work (i.e. Verizon Message+). However, Textra can not be set as the default messaging app for this solution to work. I'm running Android Wear 2.0 on LG Urbane, Android 7.0 on Samsung s7.

I contacted Textra support and they said their app is fully compatible with Android Wear 2.0. They said there is no watch app but messages should still appear on the watch with an option to reply. You just can't initiate a message from the watch.
