Textra update coming soon

Yeah weird. I downloaded apk other day from here and now it's gone there as well.

Even weirder, my so reverted back to 4.47 and when I try to reinstall 4.48 get an error. I wonder if Apple made them remove?

That's what Textra is doing with their next update. We will have those capabilities. However, Google and Samsung messaging do not. So, if you want the ability you will gave to use Textra. I believe I saw were Google messages was getting the update but not sure when.

I have the Google Messages beta and I was able to use the reactions feature on my daughter's Android phone. I believe both users have to use the same messages app. But it don't work on Samsung to Apple phones.

Same here. Literally the only one without an iPhone and they are always liking or laughing a message. Which wouldn't be bad if I didn't get the notifications.

That's why I have the best of both worlds. I have both Samsung devices and Apple.

Looking more into 4.48. So we'll start seeing reactions on posts...but we cant react on other people's messages?

Is that what I'm reading...

Cause I tried to react to some messages but nothing that relates to reactions comes up (press or long press).


Update: looked on the app vs the original post, looks like the being able to react option is coming soon.

)If you look at the release notes (3 dots and What's new) for 4.48 the last line says the ability to react on people's messages is coming soon

I wish I wouldn't get any notification when someone reacts to my message. I think the notification bugged me more than the text coming through that someone reacted to a message.
