Texts messages show up in wrong order

Settings -> Date and Time -> Uncheck Automatic Time Zone / Check Automatic Date & Time

This worked for me. Couldn't explain why though.

This didn't work for me and when I stood my phone back to the store they basically told me oh well...

I Also Have This Same Exact Problem, When I Text People My Messages Show Up On Top Of All Theirs And It's Hard To Understand. I've Tried Everything And Nothing Works.

Thanks!! My messages were appearing in the preview area but not in the grouped message saying/app. I went and looked at the date/time and it DID some how change to Aug 2014 when its March 2016? Seems to have fixed the problem!!

I will try this hope it works my text that I receive showing at the top of mine is annoying having to go back up to look at my receiving text see what it says...

I and my partner have also been having this same problem. The text messages are grouping by sender, not by the order in which they are sent. All sent texts are grouping together at the top, all received texts are grouping at the bottom. Very difficult to follow a conversation when I have to scroll up past 25 received messages (accumulated over the course of 2 days time) to see the text I just sent two minutes earlier. -_- and our clocks and alarms have been going crazy as well... but that's a whole other forum I suppose...

Yes it fixed your problem I had the same I just active the automatic zone change done

i tried this on mine (the suggestion by GredoShotFirst77)..it didnt work for me, and the date is the correct date. my texts still do this. so frustrating having to scroll all the way up to read a new incoming text. makes me not even want to bother, arrgghhhhh, alcatel Pixi4 is what i have. i have had it on auto time zone, took it off, set it on auto date & time (use network provided time), and still nothing has changed at all, even power cycled my phone after i changed it and nothing works. my texts are still doing the same thing :-/
