What you don't see is that that app is for... "tablets"

I wasn't seeing that at all for my phone.

Then I read what it was for, so I looked up the same search on my tablet and there it is.

Are you seeing that app listing on a phone?

I did see the tablet part and I'm searching from my phone . * Shrugs*

Probably one of those things we can chalk up to AT&T being frustratingly inconsistent.

That should come as pre-installed bloat on Att Carrier version , the Samsung message app should be default .

Doesn't come no more with the newer phones the message app of AT&T.

On the Samsung phones, just the stock Samsung Messages app, which pretty much follows what AT&T wants anyway, including the advanced messaging features.

For other android phones, I think most have standardized on Google Messages.

Yeah that's what I thought also

I had the same issue on T-Mobile I told them to fix it or return it. They took the device back and refunded 90% of what I paid. Too expensive to put up with BS not working.
