Texts only show up through contact list.

Wife and I have new S10e phones. Hers has new number. Both of us use textra. She notified friends of change to update their contact info for her and send her a text to verify. All good including notifications.

Problem: She receives my texts but they do not show up with her other texts. The only way to access my texts is to go to her phone contact list and click to send me a text. That brings up textra with all texts I have sent. She can text me from there. My texts are the only ones being effected. Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be changed?

What if she just opens Textra? (There's one default text app in the phone for each Google account, so if she has only one account, all texts should be showing up in Textra, if it's the default account. Make sure they aren't showing up in the default text app - that would mean that the defaults are a bit messed up.)

Both phones are set to Textra as default.
