So this morning I woke up to an almost dead tablet. It was connected to the charger and the charger was plugged in. It was connected to the same outlet I was charging my phone on so I know the outlet works. Just to be safe I moved it to a different wall outlet and it still didn't charge. I took the usb cable out of the charger and tried to charge it on my computer, and still nothing. I have restarted, hard reset, and still no charge. I am also using the charger that came with the tablet. If anyone has some tips or has had this problem happen to them please let me know. Thanks!

After a full wipe of the tablet it still won't recognize the charger... However, when I plug my tablet into my computer using the USB cable alone it seems to recognize the computer and tablet connection. Looks like my charger has gone bad. I will take it back to Best Buy and see if they will replace the charger. If not I will just order an OEM charger later today. I'll keep you informed.

I just left Best Buy and they didn't have a charger that will work with my tablet. I guess I will spend the $15 for a charger off ebay or $30 to get one from their website. So far this tablet has been nothing but trouble. I have replaced it 3 times, the keyboard twice, and now the charger is out. The only nice thing about this tablet is that I got it from Best Buy. If not I would have been screwed! Will update once I get a new charger...

That's a bummer! I hope the charger you end up getting works. I've generally been happy with my TF300, although I have found the general performance to be a little disappointing considering it has a quad-core CPU. It's decent for games, I guess.

I just got my new charger in the mail and everything works just fine. Looks like the charger burnt up. I guess the lesson here is don't leave your charger plugged in if you have an Asus, because my 3 year old HTC charger plugged into the exact same outlet is still working perfectly. For anyone that comes across this problem you can charge your tablet through a USB port on your computer it just charges at about 3% of the normal speed.

If you ever have issues with the USB cable, or the charger again, check at Office Depot, if you have one near by, for an official ASUS replacement. Together they should cost between $25 to $30.

Hi I had the same problem ,dead battery woul not charge, no light ,no vibrate. , plugged in all night to computer, no luck. Finally took power plug apart where it changes for different countries and cleaned connections. Away it went now fully charged ,tablet works as good as new.
