I was looking at my battery life and screen on time, and I always obsess over battery life. Right now I'm averaging 15 hours from the time I unplug in the morning, with 5 hours of screen on time, which I believe would count as "heavy usage".

This is the best STOCK battery life I have had with an Android phone (user since 1/2010 OG Droid Verizon, HTC Thunderbolt, AT&T Samsung Galaxy 2 Skyrocket, HTC One X, now Moto X)

I figured I would throw it out here that moving forward, as a rule of thumb, we can use the 15/5 rule to compare phones, so that we all have a baseline and a common standard for comparison.

Thoughts?

Seems about right. I usually get about 13 hours, with 3 screentime, but I also plug in about 30% remaining.

Not to be THAT guy, but how did you have the Motorola DROID 9 months before it was released?

I'm getting my X this weekend and am really happy to see the kind of battery life you're getting. 15 hours with 5 hours screen on time? That's amazing!
