The 45w charger - (Yes or No?)

You got me there. 45W 51% @ 21 min 25W 40% @ 20 min 30 min gives you 71% vs 65% so yeah if you only have 30 min to charge and need that extra 6% then its worth it :) But i get it, time is money for some people. Even with the 50 bucks credit I will have after the Buds+ I'd rather use that money towards a fast wireless charger so I can have one at work and one at home.

It was a pretty cool video, he did it against a note 10+. Ultra was faster overall even with a bigger battery.
I'll just tell you what it did for me. 6% to 51% I'm 17 minutes. That's good enough for me. I've said before, I wouldn't pay full price for it. They go on sale, or just use some of your promo. If you need to buy a home charger anyway, then I would probably pay the extra to get it.

I have a note 10+

Flossy Carter already compared the two last year. Not worth it.

BTW with the price of the Ultra, SAMSUNG couldn't include the 45 watt charger FFS.

I watched a charge test on youtube today 0-100% on the S20U 25W charger 61 min, 45W charger 58 min. Not worth 50 bucks to me.
And the first 0-20% or so is abusing the battery and shortening the life, so it's a double whammy.

I know the 45w charges to a certain percentage faster than the 25w - but I have heard from multiple sources that the 45w charges to 100% in the same time as the 25w charger does also. Does anyone plan on shelling out the $$ for one of these? And will there be a wireless version also? I just don't see the point. If you're going to give us the option on a more powerful charger - at least make the charging time faster (overall) than a less powerful version.
I've already committed to the $1300 lease on the ultra 128 gb. I'll use my current 25w and standard extra chargers. Getting a good quality case soon.

It will be really interesting to see if and how much the Ultra will benefit from the 45W charger compared to the Note 10 plus

37 Euro for the Samsung 45W charger
58 Euro for the Elecjet 20.000mah 45W powerbank
(delivery included on both)
Now I just need a good deal on Samsungs own 10.000mah 25W wired charging powerbank which also have 15W wireless charging.

If you're the type who doesn't charge your phone to 100%, the 45w charger makes sense for you. If you go to 100%, you're not saving much time as opposed to the 25w charger.

I was in touch with the company that makes the PowerPie (the 45W powerbank) and they're planning on releasing a 45W PD PPS charger as well, I should know a bit more in a couple of weeks but will definitely drop in here or start a combined charger+powerbank thread when I do

The wireless is only 7.5

That's the one.... That's not an actual spec, it's a review and based on the actual language the key word is "likely"

From the review:
"The wireless charging speeds are likely to max out at 15W"

See the actual packaging below and if you go to the website it says up 7.5W

I got the impression that the 7.5w was a previous version and the one with 15w only just released or around the corner.
Maybe I got a few articles mixed up

I had another look around and the built in 15W wireless looks more like wishful thinking that didn't make it to the final product, ah well, we'll do it the old way and give the phone 3 minutes on the microwave instead :-)
