The AC Coffee Junkies thread.

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

I've got a friend in Nebraska who likes to make his "cowboy style"... He boils the water grounds together, and then at the gives it a splash of cold water to knock the grounds down to the bottom. It's amazing if you can get past a little grit.

I love pour over as well...just haven't tried it at home.

Sophie says it's time for a break...
More coffee needed!

You haven't had enough coffee until you can thread a sewing machine... While it's running.

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

Every morning when I go to work, I bring my trusty Marvel superheroes travel mug filled with black coffee (unless I have a work meeting beforehand); and I dress it up with cream and sweetener when I get to work. It's either Nabob: Full City Dark coffee or Tassimo Nabob: Swiss Hazelnut or Nabob: Midnight Eclipse (Keurig or regular brew).

... Yes. I am a Nabob junkie.

Joe and milk at my dusty dirty desktop.
(I dust like 3 times a day and it still looks like we live in a cave)

I like to get espresso roast beans and grind them to coarse, then make a fresh cup of coffee with my French Press!

Just bought a brand new automatic Burr Mill coffee grinder! I can't wait for some freshly ground French press tomorrow morning!

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

One thing I regularly battle with is overly bitter coffee. Is there a trick to getting the hold, smooth flavors like at a coffee shop? I only have an auto drip brewer and tap water to use, but have tried adjusting the amount of coffee ground, using both normal and strong brew options, and a carbon water filter in the brewer.

Halp!?

Here's a good article. How to Get the Best Cup from an Auto-Drip Coffee Maker

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

Would it be sacrilegious to post a picture of my CB coffee mug here?
