The AC Coffee Junkies thread.

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

You'll be hooked now. Once you have Starbucks you don't go back lol. I was getting cappuccinos regularly at a gas station by my.old job. Then I started this Starbucks kick and have been an avid and frequent visitor at the multiple locations near home and work almost daily.

You nailed it. Been back 3 times since.

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

I have Starbucks now and then for their peppermint mocha, but by no means an addiction.

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

A terrible tragedy has befallen me. I lost my travel coffee mug! I tried gas station coffee, but just wasn't the same without my butter and coconut oil.

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

This is my new coffee mug, travel or otherwise. I love these Tervis tumblers, can go from hot beverage to cold and no sweating.

(And yes, I did a half marathon [13.1] on Oct 1. It was my first and probably not my last)

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

John I was an avid runner before turning to cycling. Did a few half marathons and a full marathon in Pittsburgh back in 2003.
I do a good bit of cycling as well. I may transition to more riding next summer, the half-marathon was one of those "can I break through this wall" kind of things. I'd like to do another and see if I can get a better time, but also at the same time I don't want to end up with two knee replacements at age 50 if you know what I mean.

The half marathon shouldn't do that to you, but the full marathon that's hard on your joints for sure lol. I didn't like going through all those $$ shoes plus with cycling even if I'm sore from the gym or whatever, I can still get out and ride.

Yes I love that about riding...a lot of times when I'm sore from a long run, I find that a good ride loosens everything up nicely. I'm blessed to live right off of the forest preserve, and the county has literally hundreds of miles of trails so no excuse for not getting out there!

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

And apologies to anyone who thinks we're hijacking the thread...we can quit talking about real running and go back to talking about coffee runs! :D

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

Man its cold rainy gray and dreary in Chicagoland today. Just want to kick on the electric fireplace and curl up with some coffee and a good book or two

re: AC Coffee Junkies thread.

Am hooked on coffee as well. Just the average Maxwell House Colombian variant daily via Bunn brewer. Their HQ is local, so kinda mandatory you buy one if you live in the area. BUNN - Home & Commercial Beverage Products & Accessories
Though absolutely cannot pass a Starbucks or Caribou if in town w/o stopping no matter the weather or time of day.

Doing a bunch of work in the basement today, which stinks because it's November 5 and 70 degrees in Chicago... go figure.
But had to go to Home Depot for some things and figured nows a good time to redeem points for a free Cold Brew
