The Android Central app is TRASH

Sorry to have to vent my frustrations in this way, but I just want people to know that the Android Central app is trash. So many bugs and error messages, it's just gotten to the point where it's laughably bad. The device or mods or somebody needs to do *something*.

1. Can't access threads - This issue was resolved after about 10 people complained in 2 posts.

2. Can't upload pictures to the One X giveaway thread - kind of defeats the purpose of the thread, doesn't it? Error "You may not have permission to do this action"

3. Can't modify my post in the classifieds. Same permission error.

4. Error messages received when I try to click "like" or "thanks" on a post. I like this feature, hopefully it doesn't become unusable as well.

I hope whoever is responsible for this app isn't getting paid, because this is just amateur, frankly.

Sorry to hear your frustrations with the AC App.

First let it be known this is based on vanilla Tapatalk. So its not something AC or its tech/design programmers cooked up themselves.

Second the permission errors couple days ago were fault of a problem server in the lineup which seems to have been identified and resolved.

Likes/Thanks.. Never had this issue personally and I use the AC app almost exclusively all day and night to moderate the forums.

Picture uploads.. I've had this problem before with the AC app, Tapatalk and even regular browser from time to time. Not sure what the issue is, something the tech team would have to comment on.

By classified you must mean the Marketplace. The original post of each thread cannot be modified once posted. This was done to protect the buyers and also lock in the sellers to what they originally listed for sale or trade. We had issues in the past I believe were sellers/traders changed up the OP during a transaction and then tried to claim they weren't liable to provide/sell something they originally had listed. Again, if I remember this was done merely to protect the entire transaction on all ends.. Seller & buyer.

Well, I don't know what to say. I can't really lay the blame on anyone. I understand that the app is based on Tapatalk, so I guess it must be an issue with the servers. The not being able to upload a pic to a thread is pretty bad.

I hope they get it fixed soon. I'll shut up now

I've taken a look at your user account, and have made a few adjustments. Could you let me know once you logout/login if you can post images to the contest, modify your posts, add likes/thanks, etc.?
