The annual trade-in race

I'm not worried
Well now that you say that... After day 14 Samsung charged me the trade in value even though they got it. Customer service said until we see it you will be charged and when we finally do get around to approving it, likely not going to happen at this point, but if we do it will be 20 to 60 days that your refund will be processed.

They charged you? , forget the sales rep get a stupidvisor right away that's not your problem if they don't have time to check it in time.

I am in the Double Rebate Race. I purchased the Note 7 for myself, and the S26 Ultra for The Wife, so two separate trade-in shipments.

Tracking and reply from Samsung show both packages arrived and the phones are in the Inspection process as of March 25. 5 of the "14 business days" for the inspections to be complete are passed with no update.

If the trade-in amounts were not so hefty, I would not be so uneasy until they are approved. These numbers, though, have me on edge.

Still, the old phones are in near pristine condition, so there should not be any issues.

I imagine that there is such a crush of trade-ins to process that the time to complete the process will take all or nearly all those 14 working days.

I'm assuming you mean fold 7. Note 7 was a disaster.

Note 7 or Fold 7? You guys are cracking me up this April even though the 1st has already passed

Lol. The Note 7 definitely was packing heat. I hated that I had to turn it in and get the s7. In the short amount of time I had it , I fell in love with it.
True story my S7 edge would get insanely hotter than my note 7 ever did (which I still have).

I know the S26U is the newest, BUT overall the Note 7 was the best phone Samsung ever produced. I was really mad having to give it up. I don't think it should have ever been recalled. Would have put the hurt on Apple. Btw still no approval for my S25U trade in yet.

The people that had the note 7 were the first ones to see a massive upgrade on the software we know today. It's hard to remember back that far, but Google OS and Samsung had glitchy phones before the note 7. So when the people that got the note 7 seen and used the awesome phone compared to previous phones made it hard to give it up, definitely felt like a downgrade.

Just received notice from Samsung that they have completed my trade in on my Fold 7 for my S26U and also on my wife's P10P XL trade in for her S26+. I sent them in on the same day and my tracking shows that Samsung received them both on 3/16. I figured another few days before I gave them a call since they have 14 working days, so don't count weekends or holidays

Finallyyyyyy after receiving it 3/16

Idk I feel like that title goes to the Note 20 Ultra. Slick design, beautiful bronze color and the last true Note device with an SD slot no less. Those were definitely peak Samsung years.
