The battery life VS. the user experience. Should I keep my G6?

I was a little worried coming from the galaxy s8+ having 7-8 hrs on screen time which lasted me a day of use then switching to the G6. but I've been pretty happy, I get 7hrs screen on time. 62% brightness, WiFi, data, always on display, Gmail sync, WhatsApp all day, some YouTube, Facebook, Instagram. no gaming other than some word and run games now and then. can you post a screenshot of your screen on time and app usage?

Hopefully the stuff you have disabled will make a difference, but just blindly doing that may miss a real culprit, so make sure you grab better battery stats too, it is good to identify process usage, alarms, kernel wakelocks, and partial (app-requested) wakelocks. All of those can cause a misbehaving app to use more juice than it should.

Can you tell how can I do that? I mean, what app can I use?

I just charged until 90% and now I'm testing how it's gonna be after using the LG package removal.. Hope it gets better!

I get great battery life with my G6. I used LG Package Disabler Pro to disable several apps like Facebook and Quickmemo which are known for sucking battery power in the background. I have AOD turned on, GPS on, and I have the smart location feature to auto turn on/off the WiFi.

I am partial to "Better Battery Stats", but if you don't want to pay for that, you can use the free version of GSAM battery monitor plus "Wakelock Detector Lite". Root is not required but unfortunately due to Android restrictions, you willl need to setup ADB on a computer so you can allow the apps access to the necessary statistics (the apps themselves have notes in them telling you what is needed, but setting up adb might not be somethinng you want to get into...).
