The Calendar isn't showing holidays.

I have the note 9, on verizon. For whatever reason the stock calendar app doesn't show holidays. I have the settings set for showing us holidays and all that pops up is tax day and election.
What's weird is my girlfriend has a note 9 on my account and they have the same settings, but hers shows all the holidays..
I've done the usual, wipe cache partition, change settings and then put them back lol.

It does not have an uninstall option, or i would uninstall it and re install..

Any help appreciated.

Check your settings to see if you can add Holidays to your calendar. I have it on my Calendar on my Note 9. I am using Google Calendar.

Did you have the calendar options checked in from Google Calendar in from Google Calendar? Mine on my Note 9 show the options I checked, including Holidays, Phases of the Moon, my football and Baseball teams schedules(including score integration, postgame, and local college sports. Might check into that.

i will look and see, but the only place i saw holidays was going to setting in the app and choosing calendars, and i have the holidays checked..

Damned, now that I read this Russel, mine is the same way and I have Holidays checked as well but they don't show up! Just never noticed - all this time... duh!

Still didn't help it BUT I got my aCalendar App (which is what I've been using for years) itself, fixed soooo.... I'm good! (I found the "Calendar" choice and "Country" selection buried) Thanks Mustang!

I use the Samsung Calendar app on my phones and watches. They're all showing the public holidays.
