Is that pic taken through a window. That might be part of the problem too.

To be fair yes it is. But even outside the window down it isn't much better at all. My Galaxy s6 and S4 both took pictures you could zoom in with after the photo is taken . On my particular v30 you can't, it turns to mush. I've checked for.finger prints too.

I've heard gcam.apk helps a lot

lately I've been super frustrated with this camera. not necessarily because it takes bad pictures but it is super slow to open and often won't even save a picture I've just taken. I've also had the phone completely freeze multiple times when trying to take a picture.

I must be in the minority because I love this camera. It's not perfect but I'm able to get some really good pics. I also have been using Google Photos auto-enhance feature to help give the pictures a lite pop.

Granted I use my DSLR for when I want really good pics but I am happy with this phone. I especially use the AI and wide angle camera a lot too.

I'm even surprisingly happy with the FFS considerkng all the hate it gets.

I'm with you but I'm in the minority cause I use manual 98% of the time. And for quick clicks the pictures turn out fine for me.
