See, I'm still on a G1, and I get to switch to verizon on the 24th. Luckily, I have received a droid so i can keep my upgrade subsidy for the bionic...

I feel the bionic is the only worthy upgrade at this point .

And a few days this forum will go crazy? I've been going crazy since i read dual core, ddr2, verizon, and Q2 lol.

Panda, we got beef... I was all excited for the Bionic, then I read your latest poem. Now all I can think about is 'Well what about the stock device, I must know more about the stock device'. I'm not up for upgrade till July, so I have some time before it's time to buy... But the indecision is killing me (and look at my sig, I already had a monkey wrench thrown into my potential choice with the Targa and D3 rumors)... If only I were psychic and could know about all the phones coming out this year so I wouldn't have to live with all these potential choices :-\

I am in the same boat as you... I love technology, but this is why I also hate it. I have had an upgrade since November, been waiting on the Bionic, then I see the Targa. I know if I buy the Bionic the Targa will be out a month later, but if I wait on it I will be waiting for months.

So frustrating. And you just know when the Targa comes out the next thing will be leaked.

Primary account gets an upgrade every year at the 2 year contract price with a 20 dollar upgrade fee. You might be able to get that a month or 2 early if you get the right person at the right time.

Exactly what Naki said. At 12 months, if you are the primary line, then you can upgrade for just a fee. Or if you are a secondary line, the primary line holder can give you their upgrade.

I'm not sure if you can sign a one year if you do that though. I'm trying to figure that out as thats what I want to do.

Are you serious? Why didn't I know this? What's the catch though? I only have one line at 39.99 per month. I signed a two year contract well over a year ago and am eligible to upgrade in late June. Are you saying I could upgrade right now for a small fee?

The catch is you just have the have the primary line with a monthly bill of $49.99 minimum, and pay a fee to get the yearly upgrade.

This will be your last chance. With Verizon's new policy, you can only get a new phone after 20 months on a 2yr contract; 10 months on a 1yr contract. So use it wisely.

You cannot. I'm approaching the end of my 2 year contract and my NE2 is 4/24. I tried to pick up a TBOLT on launch day and do a 1 year contract and they said I could not until I reach 4/24.
