Has anyone ever come up with a definitive solution for this? I only get it upon rebooting the phone, prior to accessing the home screen. It's not fc'ing any apps, so it's not the end of the world. But this issue has been around for years; I researched it and there appears to be a dozen potential solutions but none were clear-cut winners and not one worked for me. Is it Facebook, Gmail, calendar, weather; usb syncing, Wifi/4G related? I don't know. Anybody know? I'm on an HTC One running stock 4.1.2.

I had the same problem on my HTC One. I tried the suggestion from this old XDA forum thread from 2010 that seemed to work for many. That was to go to the Apps Menu and "Clear Data" from Calendar, Calendar Storage, and Gmail. (Note: Clear Cache was greyed out on all of them.) I did several reboots and a few shutdown/restarts and the message hasn't reappeared one time. Of course, ymmv.

(Also running stock 4.1.2 on AT&T...software number 1.26.502.10 and sdk api level 5.12 if that helps.)
