The Face recognition and Iris scanner stop working on my s8plus

When I set up my phone I selected Face recognition, worked like a gem, than it stopped working, so I decided to try the Iris scanner, worked Great, that too stop working!... Any suggestions?

clean the sensors? then return the phone.

Cleaning the sensors is a good start. What do you mean it stopped working? Does it try to read your iris but just fails or does the iris sensor just not start up anymore?

Maybe try and re-register your face and iris? make sure you follow the directions 100%. I do that sometimes and just blow by the instructions.

One day my iris scan stopped working. The light wasn't even turning on and an error message about it not available. A reboot fixed it.

Same here. Been working all day no problems. Nothing changed. Then went to turn on the phone (lock screen) it says the *iris scanner is not available, please try again later* wouldn't light up or anything. Reboot fixed it but really!? Worries me for the future of the phone.
