The Facebook World Icon always sitting on top of phone?

Odd question. On my phone the little world facebook button ( the one that tells you you have a like, or comment ) is always sitting in my notifications. Any idea how to get that removed?

App Settings in Facebook, uncheck "Ongoing notifications" poof. Gone.
