What do you all think of the Google newsfeed on your Pixel 2/2 XL? I miss my Google Now cards from my Nexus 6P and would rather have that back instead. I liked how I can swipe things off after I'm done reading them or aren't interested in looking. How did you configure yours?

I too miss the swipe to remove, but I understand why they did it. Google was unaware with the swipe if you were uninterested or if you were just finished with the Card. The new UI does force the user to tell google to hide or tel Google that they're not interested. It definitely caused me to update my interests, which is probably what they wanted.

But there has to be a middle ground somewhere...

After playing around with it more, I wish they had flipped it around where the cards is the home screen, and the inbox-looking icon is the news feed. I suppose splitting it into two sections does make it less cluttered, but I don't agree with the execution.

I actually like it more than the previous cards. IMO, it's a lot more curated and disciplined. As @vansmack mentions in their post previously, editing the feed was a bit lacking and the information was more like "all information at once" kind of thing.. Weather, then traffic, then some random information on something you searched two days ago would work it's way in there at times.
