I have an EVO LTE on Sprint and I used my friends SGS3. The one thing that impressed me more than anything on the phone was the hardware home button. I LOVED IT. One thing I hate about HTC phones is that the power button is in a weird place (top right, which is hard to get to on a big phone, especially for right handed people). But with the S3, you can touch it and it turns the phone on. I know it seems little and most people probably dont appreciate it much, but I fell in love with it lol.

The Home button is nice to wake the phone with, but awkward as a, you know, Home button.

I'd love to turn off the "wake up" function of the home button (anybody know how?!). Once it's awake, the Zeam launcher takes care of the awkwardness....

id like to know this m8.. phone must wake in the pocket a lot

I am constantly tapping the home button as if it's capacitive...one day I'll learn but it's definitely a lot more effort to press it than the back/menu buttons. I don't really mind it but wouldn't miss it.

I was looking forward to the dedicated home button so I could turn the phone on while it was sitting on my desk, but I must say that I have grown to appreciate it a lot even when not on the desk.

As the phone is rather slim and has rounded edges, sometimes I find myself holding it steady by pinching it between my fingers in back and my thumb resting just above the home button. I can hold it firmly without depressing the home button. Capacitive buttons would be going crazy if it was held like that.

Coming from an iPhone for 6 months, I'd gotten use to a home button...I like it!
