tbh Samsung phones are not bad at all, but I don't use a case on my phone and I really feel my phone not feeling premium would be a deal breaker for me.Lol fair enough.

Yeah I've played with sense on my friends 2.2 phone and it sucked, but the latest sense looks amazing.Sense and htc support were deal breakers for me, I do expect both to be significantly improved on the one.
And coming from the evo which was probably htc's best build quality before the one I don't think the note 2 has a cheap feel to it. It's all subjective but that's just me.

The EVO is ancient history the X Rezound and DNA are all fantastic phones with very few issues if you want to live in the past that's fine but all 3 phones are far superior to the Evo,also you ever take into account that Sprint is on the bottom of the food chain and Sprint support is not that great and they have the final say on support patches and updates.

why would sprint release an LTE phone, but like i said i think Sprint is more to blame then HTC,their track record for service, coverage, and updates are questionable at best. The evo lte isn't even a year old, far from ancient history. That's another problem HTC has, a phone can be 10 months old and it feels like ancient history because HTC acts like they forgot they ever even made the phone and have come out with a dozen different newer phones since then. But again hopefully this won't be the case with the one

The one X wasn't a whole lot better. HTC has been a mess for a while now. And Sprint charges extra for lte whether you ever pick it up or not, that's why they sell it.
Maybe in your opinion i have the Rezound and DNA on Verizon and very pleased with both.

I have no doubt HTC One will do well, but they are going to stumble out of the gates and it could kill their momentum. First mfg delays, if they can't get the units out the door, they can't sell them, which means they miss Wallstreet #'s and their stock drops. Two this is the only high end phone to come out in 2013 so if they don't deliver on shipments they are going to falter and again take a hit on their stock. Third the HTC First is a turd swirling in the bowl of an otherwise great device launch window. The HTC First should have been delayed until the HTC One was out a bit more rather than draw FB users away to that ghastly phone.
While I use to love HTC phones Verizon made he question them. I do hope they regain their momentum because competition is what makes OEM's work harder for our $$$$$$$.

Sprint does not charge extra for LTE. They charge extra because users with smartphones use more data. Especially ones that have access to higher speeds.

They definitely did for my evo as recently as a month or so ago when I gave it back to them and said no thanks.

I wish. Then we could all get together and sue them for failing to deliver on a contract. But the truth is that the $10 has been paid on any smartphone since mid-2010 when it was all 3G and a little bit of WiMax. They've never called it an LTE fee, or even a 4G fee for that matter. It has always been called a premium data fee. Semantics, I know, but it keeps subscribers from having any case against them for not having 4G up and running everywhere. They definitely did for my evo as recently as a month or so ago when I gave it back to them and said no thanks.
No, they don't.
