The HTC U11's small battery seems like one glaring issue I can't get over

Besides not having bands 29 and 30, another issue for me is the dreaded yellow tinted screen. It took me 3 HTC 10's to finally get one without it. I'm definitely holding out for more user reviews like deng66 mentioned.

I'm interested, but coming from a Galaxy A5 (battery life champ!), I get the feeling I'll be very disappointed. I've seen reviews that say less than 4 hours of screen on time, while others have been getting close to six. But I don't think there's any reason to cancel a preorder yet. You get thirty days to return in case the OnePlus 5 turns out better.

Same here. Once the phone is out and I start to see more real life reviews from regular users, I may reconsider if things look (and sound!) good.

I'm with you: I'm going to wait a few months and see what the audio/battery capabilities are like before officially pulling the trigger. What kind of phone are you using now?

Using the LG G6 now. Had the S8+ for a while but decided I liked the G6 better so I went back to it. I still hope the U11 will turn out to be great and tempt me again but this time I'm going to let some other folks take the first turn at it

yeah, you get 30 days for a return period so I will probably try it out. I have the oneplus 3t and really enjoy that still and also interested in the 5

I think Moto Z Play owners are in the same boat. They currently have a lovely 3,500mAh battery but the Moto Z2 play has a 3,000mah. That's a 500mah drop.

I think, since the HTC 10 and U11 have the same capacity but the processor has been significantly improved, battery life will be solid.

The OnePlus 5 might be getting a 3,300mah battery so I'm predicting some great stuff from them and it could be worth the wait if you are already a OnePlus customer.

I've been looking up reviews for the U11 and they are saying things like, "impressive battery life" or "good battery life." It's not the biggest battery ever but I think it has the potential to deliver a solid battery life experience. But I guess we don't really know until we can have some real-world testers!

Seems there are as many good media ratings as mediocre. Point being battery life if subjective. Best to use your own use to compare, but of course requires having the device.
