I know this is a minor, minor thing but... Draw Something with the SPen is FREAKING AWESOME! It's like I'm actually drawing and not spastically fingerpainting.
Anyone in a Sprint LTE area doing any speed tests?
I'll check in here and state that I picked mine up yesterday in San Diego. Without fanfare, oddly. I kept pestering the store when Sprint announced and was told they didn't know. Called them yesterday at 9 and they said they had 4 in stock. I had mine by 10am. I really like it. It is big, but light. I thought it was funny that all the accessories were bright Apple white. At least I won't loose them.
Now, I just need to learn how to really use the sPen. I was trying out the sNote, and found it very accurate. The operation of the phone is quite a bit different then the HTC EVO 4G that I replaced, but give me a week and I'll get used to it. I really like the new voice command interpreter. This one actually understands me. The EVO never understood me....
Got a question for the lucky owners. I read in the GS3 forum that the Jellybean update allows you to customize the background in your messaging app, is that the case on the Note 2 as well?
call up and have them bill you the 50 bucks. I did that with 100 bucks i have to pay. ( upgrade was set for may) And you can just upgrade no need to turn in your old phone if you don't want to. You can keep your phone and sell it online for abit more.I am still sad, these bastards are making me wait an extra week to upgrade !! my contract is up nov 1. I can upgrade early for a 50 dollar fee, plus I have to trade my old phone in.. Which is already sold on ebay for 80 dollars.
I'd get 36 for my phone from sprint, so all in all I'd be paying an extra like 100 dollars to get it early.... probably worth it, but spending 300 is enough
Can anyone confirm if the N2 indeed does NOT have a removable SIM slot? Saw the manual (P.243) indicated it had somekind of SIM. Thanks.
I'm in Houston. No problem whatsoever. I just walked into the store. Wasn't even a line. I got mine from the Sprint store on 249 and Gessner.
I thought it was going to be a horrible wait like when I got my OG Evo on the day it came out over two years ago. The wait for that was like 4 hours. It was a line out the door.
Is the camera better than the fast burst app? That's what I've been using for a little over a year now. It seems to have better lighting than any other stock or camera app I've tried....
