The music player

I noticed that even though I don't use the music player, its icon always show up in the notification area. Is this normal?

It shows on mine any time I use the headset to connect to my radio or use amazon cloud. I don't know if it's normal or a bug.

In my case, it automatically shows up even if I don't plug in the headphone. So weird.

I don't see it show up in my notifications, but I do see it, along with many other apps, show up in my task killer even though I never opened it.

*smh task killers ... go to your room and think about what you did young one! It does show up in my notifications a lot but doesn't really bother me as I do use the music apps a lot.

Also the voice recognition integrates with Pandora but not with the music app
