Worst case scenario, DL Nova Launcher, That's the beauty of Android.

I like the looks myself. Didn't like the bar at the top. Bottom makes more sense for me.

I think you should be able to move it wherever you want it and not have to swap launchers to do so.

Do we already know that the search bar and calendar widgets are baked into the launcher and cannot be moved or removed?

The search bar looks OK to me, if you want a search bar on your home screen. I just never use them myself.

You can definitely move it. At the very least, you can get a different launcher like Nova and that's that.

I like the new launcher actually. I like that the new search bar surfaces apps too so I can quickly search for an app (rather than swipe up, reach to the top of the app drawer, then search). It's the little things sometimes

Your thumbs are typically near the bottom of the phone, so it makes sense to me to have the search bar down there as well. Since the bottom app tray is always there, it also makes sense from a design perspective (if they don't let you get rid of the bar), since it allows the upper half of the homescreen to remain completely blank, if desired.

And I also agree -- Nova!

Right. I forgot that bit. That's definitely a good argument for leaving that search bar alone.

I kinda like the look of the new launcher, and will probably use for awhile. I always end up going back to Nova because all the extra functions it has.
