The Nexus 6 is the best android flagship phone you can buy.

Can I also say this about the Nexus 6? And this is something I just noticed a few days ago. I have been putting my phone on the brightest setting because it is easier to see when outside. Well, I haven't taken it off yet and today, I just got home at 10:30pm. Left this morning at 6:30am. I have had my phone on 100 percent brightness all day and still have 30 percent left. My battery life is awesome.

I get that you had it at 100 all day due to the sun shining on the screen, but if you use adaptive brightness, you can go to 50 percent. And, when you're in the sun the brightness will adjust all the way up to 100 percent. Next time you get the chance, test it for yourself. You'll get even more battery life if you use adaptive brightness and the sunlight performance will be the same as if it was set to 100 percent. I have found that 100 is too bright for regular indoor use. I love the way adaptive brightness is always easy on the eyes and my phone seems to always be readable. IMHO.

I was a little late to the game with the N6. I had the Galaxy Nexus in the past. Loved the phone and software but the battery was abysmal. I pretty much stuck with Samsung (S3, Note 2, 3 & 4 with LG G2 & 3 in between Notes), but the last straw was the lag that you get with Touchwiz. The Note 4 is a great phone all by itself, but Touchwiz drags it down. With my Nexus 6 there is zero lag. There's always plenty of RAM available. The only downside is, and it's my fault, is that I should have purchased the 64 GB version. Other than that I could not be happier. The Nexus 6 is the best phone that you can buy, PERIOD.

I turned off my adaptive brightness but if it helps manage battery life better then I'll give it another shot.
