Just got my Bionic yesterday. Long time droid user starting with the Eris and having multiple phones throughout the last 3 years. So far, VERY impressed with the speed and quick-ness of this phone. I look forward to rooting and getting more involved with this sucker as I go.

I got my Bionic a few days ago. Originally stepped up from an Optimus S to the Razr, but it had a dead pixel from day one and the green screen tint was way too obnoxious for me. I work a lot of nights driving and I need something very dim so it doesn't glare at me. Since I had to exchange it anyway, I forked over the re-stock fee for the Bionic and couldn't be happier. Sure I took a small drop in performance, but nothing I can notice and not only does it not have the tint, but also has a greater brightness range stock than the Razr. :D

I am getting my Bionic later this morning, upgrading from a Samsung Droid Charge. Looking forward to unlimited data and never upgrading with verizon >.> The Charge just stopped meeting my needs, although it has an amazing camera. I know this may be asked alot, but I am used to the Odin method of rooting and have been trying to find a comprehensive guide to keeping the phone up to snuff. I can't wait to give it a spin.:D

Asacado, while I was in one of the Verizon stores, another customer said it sounds like they are moving everyone over to capped plans. No more grandfathered unlimited contracts being carried over. The store hadn't heard about that, but the customer said at the time that it was just announced at some corporate meeting the day before.

I haven't bothered to verify it because the 4GB cap is fine for me, and they gave me a killer deal on a 4G air card with 20 GB cap to get me off my unlimited Altell card that had been going month to month. Was some special offer by invite only from HQ that even the stores didn't have the ability to offer.

Long time lurker and user of DROID devices; just got my bionic a week ago and rooted/debloated as soon as I got home with it. I love it.

That's what I did last week when I got mine. Get home, rooted/debloated even before making a call. lol

When I found a 4G signal when I was my trip, I was amazed that it was faster than my cable internet at home. Might be a while before I see 4G where I live though.
