The Official "I Got My Nexus S" Thread

I got mine off eBay for $500 brand new. I'm pretty stoked. I've had it for a couple days and am loving it. I just need to get a case for it, which I will be sad to do because it looks so good without one.

Just upgraded from the Palm Pre to the Nexus S 4G. I felt burned by Palm because they were supposed to be one of the first phones to receive flash for mobile phones and it never happened. The hardware was crap and I had constant problems with the touch screen to the point where it was almost unusable as an internet device.

The Nexus S is everything that I was hoping for (so far) from a smartphone. There is still no 4G in my area but it being a large city, I'm hoping that it is on the way soon.

Any tips for Palm Pre to Nexus S users?

My NS4G is currently sitting in a UPS truck to be delivered to me today, so I almost have mine :D

There is a gel case at the Sprint store that looks really good. You can't even notice that a case is on.

I don't think I posted yet - got mine last week, came from blackberry curve 8530, which was starting to become a piece of crap, have been ready to throw it across the room several times.

Love it so far! First phone I've really bought a bunch of apps for: LauncherPro, Beautiful Widgets, Podtrapper (actually transferred license from bb), Juice Defender Plus, a few others and probably more to come.

I've been playing around with mine for the past couple hours and I gotta say, the form factor, screen, weight of the device... i think the S must stand for sexy. :)

My first post here. I left BlackBerry for this phone. No regrets. In fact, my friends are jealous and the sales lady I bought it from was jealous because of the design and feel. Loving this phone.

I've had mine for a week now. I came from a Palm Pre. I'm absolutely loving it so far. I use Google Voice for work, so it's wonderful to have a phone that actually works well with it. I skipped the integration with my Sprint number.

One benefit to buying the NS: The Sprint Store employees assumed I had some knowledge about phones and didn't treat me like a complete idiot.

I just got my Nexus S 4G last night... I came from a 1st gen Palm Pre. So far so good... (though task switching on WebOS was markedly better.)
