GOT MINE !

was @ Sprint @ 6am, was 2nd in line.

The first girl bought 2 outright !

I got out of there within an hour, computers were taking forever.

This phone is the greatest!! Sprint was going to open @ 8, but when they realized that a couple of people were told 7 on the phone yesterday, they were kind enough to open an hour early, so I only had to wait about 20 before the store opened and I was out of there by 7:45.

First things first... after spending the morning getting the phone re-customized to match what I had on my Hero, the biggest thing I've noticed is that this thing is BLAZING fast. The browser (Dolphin HD over either 3G or Wifi) is so much faster to load pages it's ridiculous. The wifi hotspot is an awesome feature. I did a speed test through the hotspot on my macbook over 3G and I got a 1.5Mbps download speed, which was faster than our old DSL speed.

Just a great phone and anything I found lacking in the Hero has seemingly been addressed in the EVO. Well done!

I love this thing! I waited a while to get it but worth it. What did I do first? Answer my brothers call who happened to call when I got it. Didn't even remember I was getting it. Touch screen keyboard is good. Easier in landscape mode but not too bad the other way for my fat fingers. Activation sucked but what else would we expect for the most anticipated release in a long time? This is a FANTASTIC phone. Puts my crapberry to shame. Well worth any wait.

I got mine around 9. I haven't succeeded in killing the battery yet, but I'm trying.

Then again, it was plugged in for a bit while I was rooting it >:^D

This phone is just too amazing. The screen is mesmerizing. It's so fast and so smooth!

This is the best smartphone I've ever used, iPhone included.... HANDS DOWN.

PS - it has been 5 hours and I still haven't had to charge it yet. I started with ~50% battery and now I have ~30% left. I've removed the friendstream widget since I don't hinge on facebook and twitter updates.

I got mine. I called before I left, it was 130pm EST...they had some, first come first serve...I was back in my office @ 2:15 EST.....nothing like speedy service....but the rep told me its getting busier now, they opened at 8am, and it was dead....go figure...

I've had mine for the past few hours... I picked it up from Best Buy before heading to work.

The whole process took a bit longer than (I) expected due to the extreme amount of people trying to activate this new phone today.

I had an appointment at Best Buy for 1030 and it took until 1100 to be seen by someone, but I finally got mine!! It's a very neat phone and so fast! I was mad at myself for not getting it from Radio Shack, but then I was told that best buy was giving headsets for free and it made me feel better about my choice. I will not be missing my Pre or any other phone for that matter. Go EVO!! Now if I could just figure out how to put my Hotmail on it. Forum search here I come!

I got my EVO and its sweet. It's a speedy phone and the screen is amazing. My only gripe is certain apps look a little pixilated like robot defense. That sucks.

Got mine this morning. So far it lives up to lofty expectations which is great! I am loving the silicone case since it elevates the power button. Since the depressed power button was an original complaint I am glad that this case fixed that shortcoming!

Dragged my kiddos out of bed at 5:30am just incase there was a line. Luckily I did. Got there around 5:45 and I was the 11th person in line. Didn't get out of their until after 10 though. Computers were going super duper slow! It was worth it though.

Loving the huge screen and live wallpaper. Coming from a HTC hero (that I love) and I absolutely think it was worth upgrading to the EVO!

LOVE my new EVO got it in my hand at 7:00am central time and then activated around 7:25am and paid and gone by 8:10am. Very Nice!!! And yes pixilated apps SUCKS but there a curve for every thing i guess.

Also did ya notice this has the exact same battery as my old hero that cant be a good sign can it?
