Picked mine up at Radio Shack EARLY this morning. So far having a blast with this thing. Finally was able to turn off the crappy windows mobile HTC Mogul I had. that phone was very long in the tooth!

Loving my new EVO. I am a former Palm Pre users and it was a little sad to turn it off. It was the original Pre I bought on it's initial release.

Got mine at 6am! Was about 4 others in store, ironically down the street was a line around the corner at Sprint lol ...

Def need a case/holster as this thing is way to big for the pockets, especially in the shorts banging around -

Picked up my Evo this morning at Best Buy, got there a little after 10. Two people were ahead of me, and Best Buy system was running slow as can be they said because of it. They were giving the free Bluetooth headset with it as well, and running the car charger/invisible shield combo for $30. Coming from the BlackBerry Tour I am loving this phone so far though. Speakphone could be a bit better, but its still good.

I just got my Evo from Best Buy. They threw in free blue tooth. Loving the phone and it's exactly what I expected. Sprint is being overwhelmed for activation right now so I'm using wifi cause my profile won't set up. Still very satisfied with the purchase. This thing is a BEAST!

10th in line (was 2nd but I NEEDED coffee) of about 75 when the doors were kicked open at 8am ... I was in ... activated ... and out by 8:15am ... I didnt know what to do first ... I posted up at an out of the way sidewalk cafe/coffee shop and just explored my butt off ... I am VERY new to android (came from the Pre) so i kept finding myself doing all kind of pre gestures/swipes ... I am loving it so far ... downloaded some apps and am just full of joy ... I really dont know what to do ... So ... I will sit poolside here in LA for the duration of the evening and REALLY get to know my EVO.

I was undecided whether I was getting one - I just bought a Incredible and I am pretty happy with it, but I was a Sprint was good to me once upon a time....and the EVO was just, well, too hard to pass up at least for 30 days. I called a local Walmart at 2:00 this afternoon and they had 8! All of the Sprint stores were out. Now I have the EVO and the Incredible in hand. We'll see who wins in the next few weeks - Sprint or Verizon - big boy or little bro. I just hope I don't end up liking one phone but the other network!

I finally have mine. I was at Radio Shack for a couple hours before SNAP was able to get me activated. In Cheyenne, WY there were only two pre-orders and one walk in. I love this thing!

Got it! The Shack is awesome. But I made a mistake, I bought a screen protector and while applying, it seems some of the solution got in the phone. Now my screen has a shadow spreading where it's wet. Can anyone help me?
