Got mine launch day. I arrived at 8:15 and the sprint store was packed (surprised me since it was puerto rico) it looked like a big party with people handing out flyers at the nearby stoplight with evo shirts, and evo balloons in the store. I went through the system freeze due to overload but i managed to leave with my baby by 10am as well as my buddy who went with me

Friggin love this thing!!! The 3d game performance still worries me but i have been playing super mario rpg on snesoid and forgot all about it lol

the SHACK sucked for me. Took over an hour and umm, they just sucked. They got their greaseball hands all over everything and didnt let me do anything. Pretty unhappy about that .

got mine!! radiosnatch sucked balls, over 2.5 hours to do it

it wasn't radioshacks fault..best buy was having the same issue and sprint stores.....

so no matter where you would have gone, you would have run into issues

Got mine on launch day at BB ... luckily I didn't schedule for the early morning! (I heard launch was an utter mess at every store everywhere.) My first smart phone. Tethered post. ^_^

The Incredible is an awfully nice consolation prize. The savings of switching from ATT to Sprint (over ATT to Verizon) was what made the choice for me - that, and I hear that it's STILL hard to get an Incredible.

I picked up my EVO yesterday and am loving it! The best thing I have done s do far its install Swype.

Got my Evo yesterday. Used to have a Palm Pre. Didn't actually go to the store to buy it. I was going to hold off to see if Palm put out any new hardware. I had gone with some friends because one of them wanted to get a new phone, and was playing with the stores demo Evo unit. After sitting there for a while, I grabbed one of the Sprint sales reps, and pulled the trigger on the upgrade. When I got mine, they had 1 left, and they sold the last one while I was finishing my paperwork.

Awesome phone so far. I miss WebOS a little because I was so used to it. However the improvements I got to speed, and apps leaving WebOS far outstrips the UI benefits of the Palm. I really hope Palm can put some new hardware out soon for their own sake.

Got it at 7 am when the sprint store opened, 2nd in line. In and out pretty fast. It's better then I thought it would be. Love this phone!!! Had the Pre. May go back to Palm down the road if they are still around, love Webos.

Ok,ok.... I just jumped ship and got the EVO!!!!!!
After 10 long years using Palm devices(and loving every minute of it). Kind of got tired of always feeling one step behind the joneses if ya know what I mean.

So far loving it!!!! It's only been 3 hours now, but I'm liking what's going on.

Just have to get use to no physical keyboard and get this thing setup to how I like it.

P.S. last phone was a Pre..... when WebOS hits a tablet I'm there.

Did I mention that I LOVE THIS PHONE! Hands down best phone ever. I love seeing the envy in the eyes of my iPhone using friends when they see me pull this bad boy out. They can all bad mouth this phone all they want but the facts are undeniable this phone is unbelievable .

I picked up my EVO on the 4th from BB and I have not been able to put it down all weekend. I'm in love with the Sense UI... every time I pick up this phone I keep finding cool features of this UI that I didn't realize were there.

I have a question for anyone out there. How can i use my camcorder on my EVO with the flash on so i can record in the dark if i want. Is there anyway to do that?

Got mine on 06/04 from the local Sprint store. Was 5th in line of about 50. Love this phone so far, although the default mail app and the music app are not as good as the iPhone's, but the rest is stellar.
