The Official "On the Verge of Freaking out from Impatience Thread"

I feel like a lot of people are getting ticked off/impatient for their phone to arrive so I figured I would start a nice thread for everyone to get some complaining off of their chest.

I'm starting to get super super antsy. I can't even decide if these forums are making the wait better or worse. I even drove to my local verizon store just to try to play with the demo of the Dinc and some guy would NOT GET OFF OF IT and I had to leave without even getting to touch the damn thing. I have never wanted to hurt a complete stranger more in all of my life lol.

Somebody help me...or put me in a medical induced coma til it gets here. I ordered 5/16 and I live in Las Vegas. It said "by 6/1" when I ordered it but I'm holding onto some shred of hope that I will get it sooner.

Personally, I like the monopoly of the fact that I am the only one at work that has one... still. Nobody wanted to pre-order the unit until they got to play with it first. A demo unit arrived the other day (via Verizon corp rep), and I'm sure there is quite a battle going on to see who gets to play with it.

My Pre-ordered unit arrived April 28th so it is almost a month now.

BTW...I think there are more than enough topics with people venting on this.

I was fortunate enough to walk into my local Verizon store the day it became available and walk out the door with one. My girlfriend, on the other hand, is still waiting to get hers. I don't know if this is true nation wide or just in my area but every store I've called has said they're receiving some on June 3rd, so for those of you who have not ordered online might want to go to a store that day and see if you can get one.

Seriously - relax. I checked my order status 50 times a day but if you're serious I'd get you committed. Though usually people like to play with the phone in the store before they buy it online. If you ordered 5/16 chances are you'll get it shipped Tuesday.

ugh...I'm not being serious. I check to see if my status changes one time a day and if it doesn't change I grumble and wait til the next day. Guess I'm just a little pissed off that we have to wait for our phones but they don't have to wait to get paid.

How bout they ship us the phone and we tell them our money should be in our account by "6/1". Only in a perfect world..

Blame it all on Samsung. If they didn't have a shortage of AMOLED screens then you probably would be holding your phones right now. Just try to go to a best buy or something and get the phone there. I know the best buy by me got something like 78 phones on the release day. If you are that impatient just call around to a few places. And best buy will give you the free 2GB sd card too

This is good advice, Best Buy seems to be a good choice for getting phones on launch day. They are a big enough retain chain that I am sure Verizon sends them a good number of phones.

Here is my rant. I am not happy about the wait. What I am freaking out over is the fact that if they don't get it to me by the 4th I won't get to use it till the 10th. I am leaving for a business trip to Alaska on the 6th and won't be back till the 10. I will be crazy pissed if I have to leave without my Inc. AaaaaaarrrrrrrggggGgggg!!!!!!
